Marketing Assistant

We are an inbound marketing agency and Diamond HubSpot Solutions Partner. We work with clients across North America and in most industries. Our primary focus industries are Technology/SaaS, Education (including everything from coaches to charter schools to major universities), Financial, and HubSpot users.

We’re looking for a creative, self-driven Marketing Assistant to cross-functionally support our Marketing Managers in the planning and implementation of marketing campaigns. This person will report directly to our Director of Team + Client Success and work very closely with our Marketing Manager team and marketing deliverables teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing marketing campaigns

Marketing Manager

We are an inbound marketing agency and Diamond HubSpot Solutions Partner. We work with clients across North America and in most industries. Our primary focus industries are Technology/SaaS, Education (including everything from coaches to charter schools to major universities), Financial, and HubSpot users.

We’re looking for a creative, self-driven Marketing Manager to bridge the gap between the agency and the client as well as each department within HIVE (copywriting, design, development, etc.). This person will report directly to our Director of Team + Client Success, but will need to have great relationships with your assigned clients and all team members within HIVE. This person will also be expected to execute on deliverables that are within his/her wheelhouse for your clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own book of clients (7-12 clients in various industries) including strategy development, marketing execution, and analytics
  • Efficient and effective communication with clients and internal teams
  • Run meetings with assigned clients as well as internal teams
  • Manage and nurture client relationships to ensure satisfaction and renewals
  • Support team culture and environment
  • Partner with execution teams (copy, design, development, PPC, social, etc) to deliver great campaigns, content/execution

Digital Advertising Manager (Part-Time)

HIVE Strategy is a fast growing marketing agency actively looking to add a part-time Digital Advertising (PPC) Manager to our team (~20 hours per week). We are an Inbound Marketing Agency and Diamond HubSpot Partner Agency. We work with clients across North America and in most industries. Our primary industries include Technology (hardware, software, security, and SaaS), Education (everything from educational software tools to charter schools to major universities), and Consulting & Professional Services. We primarily work in business to business (B2B) companies so a strong understanding of advertising in a B2B scenario is vital.

We’re looking for a creative, self-driven, and technically strong Digital Advertising Manager to build, optimize, own, and report on digital advertising across Google Ads, Google Display Network, Google Ad Grants, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn. This person will report directly to our Director of Marketing Operations.

We will initially need this person about 20 hours per week on Monday - Wednesday within 9am - 6pm in your timezone. Freelancing on the side is completely fine. We are not looking for a contractor, freelancer, or advertising service provider.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, build out, and execute on PPC plans for clients in a variety of industries
  • Daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly management of campaigns, strategy, spends, and performance
  • Setting and management of client campaigns to deliver desired CPA and ROAS
  • Creation and optimization of landing pages
  • Ad copy development and testing
  • Placement, testing, and troubleshooting of tracking pixels
  • Stay ahead of trends and new opportunities in the industry through proactive education
  • Regular competitor advertising analysis
  • Monthly data analysis and reporting
  • Data storytelling and interpretation
  • Optimize all PPC campaigns to yield the best possible CPA

Front End Web Developer

You must have hands-on experience with HubSpot CMS to be considered for this position. This is a front-end web development position, not a software development position.

We are an inbound marketing agency and Diamond HubSpot Solutions Partner. We work with clients across North America and in most industries. Our primary industries are Technology/SaaS, Education (including everything from coaches to charter school networks to major universities), and HubSpot users. And most importantly, we get sh*t done and done well!

We’re looking for a creative, self-driven, collaborative, and FUN HubSpot CMS/Frontend Website Developer to support in the hands-on building and execution of client web and HubSpot projects.

The Web Developer is a web design and development position responsible for website design projects as well as smaller initiatives both internal and for client accounts. This role has some client-facing responsibilities including, but not limited to: technical consulting of web development capabilities, web development in HubSpot CMS, asset creation in HubSpot CMS (modules, templates, themes, etc.), web development testing, email development, and client training. This position needs to be confident in their own skills, as well as collaborative on the development and client success teams. This position will work alongside experts in the industry with years of experience in development, marketing, and HubSpot.

This position is 100% remote, but we are only hiring in the United States. Working hours are 9am-6pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 4pm on Fridays in your timezone.

Responsibilities:

  • Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, HubL, and HubDB to build and style web pages, emails, landing pages, modules, themes, and templates to support HIVE Strategy’s clients as well as internal projects.
  • Responsible for the success of HIVE’s website projects for our clients as well as internal web development initiatives.Loading and styling templates into the HubSpot ecosystem and restyling them to match website’s branding
  • Creating and packaging modules, themes, and templates to be sold in the HubSpot Asset Marketplace.
  • Responsible for collaborating and working with client success managers and internal designers to ensure the delivery of exceptional web solutions for our clients.
  • Projects will mostly be built on the HubSpot CMS, but there may be some WordPress development, and API work as well.
  • Involvement in internal project management system and client portals to support with website design project phases including: requirements gathering, wireframing, mockups, design, development, internal testing, user testing, launch, and post-launch support.
  • Utilize strong attention-to-detail to create quality code.
  • Give realistic time/labor estimates of work and deliver on those timelines.
  • Know (or learn) inbound marketing principles in order to help facilitate our client’s marketing goals and KPIs. There will be a few required non-development certifications.
  • Engage in self-learning activities to improve technical skills.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and address issues as they arise.Involvement in Growth Driven Design processes.
  • Monthly contribution to the HIVE Strategy blog.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in HubSpot CMS is required, experience in WordPress also preferred.
  • 1-3 years of front-end development experience including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, mobile responsiveness, web development best practices, email templating, and the desire for self-learning to take on additional tools and frameworks as needed.
  • Basic working knowledge of backend programming logic in order to work with languages such as PHP on WordPress sites or other CMS.
  • Experience building custom and from scratch modules, templates, and themes in the HubSpot CMS.
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot both from a general user standpoint, as well as from a development perspective whether using the Visual Builder or coded templates.
  • Understanding of and experience implementing SEO a plus
  • Experience building APIs a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to communicate challenges to project management and business leaders
